Providing Compassionate Behavioral Health: Understanding the Unique Needs of Older Adults
This workshop will explore working with older adult populations in behavioral health settings. We will take a deep dive into the assessment and treatment needs of older adults, highlighting several evidence-based modalities that work well with this population. Learners will also discuss suicidality in older adults and how to assess and prevent suicide. Participants will walk away with knowledge and resources to work with and advocate for this population.
